Houston first transfer, first week.

 Everyone!!!
So the last week was a party, lots of people cried, not me, but it was great.  But the main thing is the mission field, right?  Getting there was kind of crazy.  So, Wednesday morning we woke up at 3:15 AM, finished packing (my suit case weighted 70lbs at first, i moved stuff and got it down to 50lbs).  Then we got on the bus at 6 AM, and then it was announced the Dallas airport was closed, so we got off the bus and spent the day at the temple. Basically till 9:30PM, when we went to bed.  Then we got up at 1:30 AM for the 3 AM bus, we got on the first plane, I sat in between 2 Elders so I just went to sleep.

I got to Dallas and called my mom and talked for 30 minutes, so great!  I got on the 45 min flight to Houston and sat next to a girl and started causal conversasion and worked in the gospel, first vison, restoration, and plan of salvation, I gave her a pass along Book of Mormon card and got her number, but she isn't in my area so I will have to call her in as a referral.  I truly taught from the spirit too, it was awesome!

Then got to Houston, met the APs, the President &his wife, next day got my companion Elder Fultz (6' 3'' 205lbs, B ball and football player), eventually you will get a picture of him.  A picture is probably on the blog.  Went to the temple with new companion. Then went and taught a girl (DeSaundra, 8th grader).  Friday was the first full day, different, but good, Saturday was the same, then Sunday was awesome!  We had 2 baptisms, 3 lessons and dinner with the bishop, Bishop Machado, oh and we had dinner apts all the other nights too.  We haven't gone tracking yet, we keep pretty busy with the people we have & my companion hates it, so we just haven't yet. Oh ya, you can write me at...( contact family for address) any questions for next week?

With Love Elder Bleazard!  5 days in and its great!

January 4th, first day

Brittani and Aaron at 5:00 AM after going to bed at 12 PM getting EVERYTHING packed.

MTC week 2

Everyone,

Just to answer a few questions from my mom,

1-Yes, all of us are going to Houston & another district too (the Elder from Quest B is in the other one).
2-Yep, temple twice, we just got back and we ate breakfast there, it was okay.
3-I don't need a coat here.
4- Foods great!
5- No, they are in a drought right now, and so i will have time there to grab a rain coat.
6-Umm, I don't know, he is going to BYU and someone said he lives here, he served in south Dakota, no i don't know that. (Asked about Elder Rassmusson, we have Rasmussons in out Tasso side)
7- No, I haven't seen Vince.
8-Yes, Jordans class is just down the hall from mine, so we talk once or twice a day.  Also I saw Blake Whitby, Kramer Epic, and Hannah Bulher (she is working food).

I'm learning alot, some things are hard to take in, and others are pretty easy to do during lessons.  In teaching, everyone has their strengths adn weaknessess.

For Britt/mom make sure you post the main letters on the Blog, then post the link on facebook.

Next week on Wednesday we fly to texas, we have to be at the travel office at 5am and our flight leaves at 8am, do you want me to call you (moms cell)?  It feels like I haven't left on my mission, like when I walk out of the MTC I will be starting it.  It makes me nervous, but excited.  The day I get to Texas I will be told when my mission will end.  And since I am leaving on a Wednesday (my current preparation day) I probably won't be able to write again for at least 1 week or up to 2 weeks.  I've been studying the scripture masteries and love them, they can all (mostly) be used in lessons, so its really good to know them.  Who do you send this "eveyone" email to?  Make sure matt gets it!  I miss him!

Packing and Set Apart for the MTC

I (Brittani) asked our Elder B if he wanted a blog and he said yes, so here I type as he is working out with my dad and Chris. I am sure he will come back from his mission big and strong.

It was so wonderful to be with him. He really is the most obedient, sweet guy I know. He really is such a peace maker. Being with Aaron is like being with your best friend, for the most part he will do whatever and laugh at your jokes and talk about what your heart needs. I hate to have him go but this world is about being selfless and doing just what Christ would do. It is bitter sweet. When he got up and he was singing with another guy in the ward they sounded like Gods Army. They were committed to the Lord. I am so excited to receive the blessings he will bring to our family and motorization to be missionaries and return to our God as servants in His hands. The Lord loves us and we must show Him we love him with our thoughts words and deeds.

I love you AJ! My mom or I will be editing his blog as he writes us. XO
