Last p day

Last P day as an Elder,

I have learned a lot of these past 2 years, I hope to keep it, use it, continue to work with the Lord to get over weaknesses so they can become strengths, I know the Lord lives for He has worked on me, through me, and with me to help me and other be better, happier, and stronger people.  The Gospel process works, God is a God of miracles, the Atonement is real and has the power to change anyone.  Christ is our Lord, in His name, Amen.

Did you get anything in the mail?

Ya a great package, I wear that ring now, but it's to small for the pointer finger and middle finger, and a little to big for my ring finger, or it might be just right for my ring finger I can't tell, thank you, I need to get used to a ring, and know what i like before I commit to a ring, in the long run at least.

How was church?

Awesome like 4 people came, but not the people we are teaching, so we have a few chances of teaching new people.

How many transfers left? 6?

What is your favorites with this comp?

Hmm...idk, he wants to work, we can talk, not sure yet.

I woke up before my alarm. Just laying in bed. Contemplating getting in the shower or falling back asleep. 

That's so nice, I love relaxing!  Some times I get the chance, like this week when my comp was sick, I rotate whatever I feel like doing between this. Workout, shower, read, eat, sleep.

I have the comfiest best. 

Any bed is good for me so far in my life, my body doesn't care that much.

We miss and love you.. And are so proud. We pray for you daily.

Last week, we went to the temple, had a baptism, ate at some Indian restaurant, and then woke up sick, slept a lot and worked through it, and I'm feeling a lot better now.

I am anxious to hear about transfers.  How was this week?

 We have been doing work, doing all we can, and it's great here.

Heavy rainfall in Texas.   That is what the news said.  It is sure a big state!  Did it rain today?
Does it not rain a lot there?

It does, but I didn't see a notifiable difference, it was just another rainy day.

Will we be skyping on Mothers day?

Probably skyping, but you can decide  last time it didn't work as well as I was hoping, but lets see how the connection is and then decide.

Aaron is doing really well in his new area and we couldn't be happier for him. If you would like his address please comment or let me, (Brittani) know and I can get it to you. 8 MONTHS LEFT! ;)

15 month mark, 9 left

Just passed my 15 month mark, 9 left


-MTC district except 3 sisters

-My comp is next to me, week 1

-Week 5 I baptized this guy, then lost touch with him but saw him last week!

-This was holding our bikes, then this is all that was left, 1pm

-2nd comp, he was in my MTC district!  His first baptism, 1st area

-A church in our area that looked weird, we did lots of biking, 1st area

-3rd comp, one next to me, 2nd area

-4th comp, I trained him, us at the temple, 2nd area

-5th comp, 3rd area

Last Tuesday was my companions birthday and we just hung out with a member, and his recently not participating friend.  They took us to a Vegan restaurant,
it tasted weird.  Wednesday we had a Zone Conference and then met a
couple at night that want to get to church, the lady (a recently not participating) the man now
investigating, they came to church on Sunday, so that is great!

Thursday we taught a lady that is getting baptized this weekend,
and we also did service all day at the Peanut Butter Factory, the
church runs.  Friday, 3 appointments cancelled, but one held and we set
a date for that man to get baptized. He just married a LDS lady a
few months ago.  We ate dinner with them, they have the funniest kids
(6 and 7 years old). 

Saturday we had a ward Reunion party, lots
of people, all day. Sunday church was great, a RC, 3 LA, and 3
Investigators came! That night we had a fireside for the Reunion
and we just got done with the fireside part and went out to eat our
food and guess what?  The 2 Spanish wards that are in our building
ate all our food!  Lots of Drama from that, but anyways, good
week!!!

What is your companion like?

His name is Elder Gray, he is really funny. He got dear johned last month.

What is the new area?

It's the most Ghetto area in the whole mission..  The work is kind of dead, but its going to start!

Hey everyone

I forgot my camera, but I will tell more details next week about
that.  I just said goodbyes to people and had good moments, saw their
progression as I had been with them.  Then I got to my new area and it
is quite the adjustment...I don't know how to fully describe it yet.
We did something everyday this week, but had downtime in between.
Church was great, two people we are working with to help investigate
the church came to church, we taught one of them the restoration, he
had read the first 100 pages in the Book of Mormon and knew it was truth, so we
set a date for him to be baptized, March 2.  Pretty Exciting!
