MTC pictures

3rd Transfer 4th week.

How was your week?
Great!  Lots of tidious missionary type work.
Anything new happen?
Austin Wade got baptized!  by Elder Schiffman, his first baptism, I get to comfirm him next week!
Are you healthier with a "clean" home?
Yes.
Do you clean weekly now instead of biannually?
Yes, haha.
Are you finding more people to teach?
No, we have alot right now, so we just teach all our current investigators.
Do you have a good will you could drop off the socks, that is probably what I would do if you sent them home?
Not that I have seen.  If I did send them home would you just send them to good will?  I will send them and use them as padding for stuff.
Have you thought of any other birthday requests?
Pics of people you would think I would want to see.  Like the youngth in the ward and such.
Do you do more teaching or visiting or tracking?
Teaching/visiting, not a whole lot of tracking.  Resontly, lots of service
How is the weather?  (this week is forcasted for Houston close to 90, with humidity, and maybe thunder on Tuesday.)
good!
Do you only wear jackets on Sunday?
Suit jackets?  Yes, only at church, then we go back and change back to short sleaves, at lunch time.
How are your clothes holding up?
Pretty good.
Which pants are your favorite?
The gray ones
Which shirts?
?  They are all basicly the same.  White shirts.
Do you notice any to be different?
Not really
Did you bike a lot this week?
Not as much no, a few days of 25 to 30 but not really, we got more miles for the car so we use it more now.
I will send some pictures now.
yes!
Sorry, out of time, my mom will have to work in some of her letters/emails to keep everyone up to date
1 baptized, and worked a lot this week, and got 6 to church!  7 last week!
got to go!
Love you always!  Elder Bleazard!

3rd transfer 3rd week

So Everyone,

I talked to my whole immediate family, that was AWESOME!  I'm glad they are doing well.  Things here in Houston Texas, Spring Branch South, are going really well.  We keep pretty busy with teaching and getting a few people ready for baptism. But it is hard to help people change.

We jump right on the chance to teach someone, but helping them make the appropriate changes takes at least 3 months, so it's really a lot of teaching for one baptism, but its worth it.  I haven't written one of these for a couple of weeks now, and I kind of forget what to say, so just for fun i will tell you my testimony, the testimony I tell people of how I know this church is true.

Usually we will have read either the intro last two paragraphs, or Moroni 10:4.  at that point I explain what the invitation is and that it works and that is why the Book of Mormon is the corner stone of our religion.

   My experience goes as follows:

At college I finished the BOM and that night really decided to ask to KNOW without a doubt if the Book of Mormon is true and if I was on the right course.  So I finished Moroni 10 and got down on my knees, by myself and gave a long, sincere prayer.  Really asking, really wanting to know, really listening to Gods reply.  Through the Holy Ghost, I got the feeling of "knowing", it is unlike any other thing, for me, it wasn't a thought popped into my head.  But it was through a particular emotion of calmness that the holy spirit was able to really talk to me, and reaffirm the truthfulness of the BOM and gave comfort to my decision to serve the TRUE church and the truth of the help i will be able to do for people.

If you haven't had this experience recently, I challenge you to do so.

Thank ya'll for everything!  I hope to hear from you soon!

3rd Transfer and 2nd week

Everyone,
So sorry for not really writing these last 2 weeks, it has been crazy. We bike between 10 to 25 miles a day, even on car days.  its is rough, i feel really tired right now.

My new companion Elder Schiffman is a unique guy, and does lots of things that I don't mind at all.  For example, I complained because I wasn't going to have time to take a quick nap (on preparation day so it's allowed), and he told me I could while he cleaned, because he preferred to clean everything by himself so he knew it was done right and his way, so I let him do that and took a nap.  He is a super obedient missionary.  We are blessed because of our obedience.

We are working with a lot of people, this week (Sunday) we are having this girl Tylar baptized.  So things are going good!  We have a lot of work to do with a lot of people though.  It's sad to see how some peoples lives are wrecked because of things like beer.  This guy we are working with is trying to stop drinking, he eats one meal every 3 days so he can drink more.  I feel so bad for him.  His name is Tommy, great guy and isn't home very often. It's hard to help him. JB & Rumae are okay, its a struggle to keep them progressing. It's still hard to deal with.

Life is good, I wish I had more time and resources to cook.

I am singing tomorrow for Zone Confrence, should be fun!

I'm kind of behind in writing letters, I just really hate writing, but write me!  I LOVE to read letters!
