Everyone

This week has been the most down then up week on my mission yet.

Monday it was kind of tense then I got a letter from Elder Jordan Beus, which totally made my day!!! It was awesome.  Then Tuesday we went over to JB and Rumaes (the people we planned on baptizing this last Sunday) and they had talked about tithing and decided they can't afford it, and since they can't join, by being baptized and taking that convent they were going to stop coming to church, stop having us over, and give us back everything we had given them (2 big Triples, 2 big bibles, Book Of Mormon on CD, lots of pamphlets, books for Sunday school and relief society and priesthood, and the restoration video), that was totally surprising, since they had LOVED everything previously. Rumae had read the Book Of Mormon and D&C.  It was a moment in my life I honestly could not say a word.

Luckily Elder Fultz stepped up to the plate, and convinced them that is what the devil wanted and that they should keep reading, praying, and coming to church and having us over. This is a small road block but we knew they would eventually get baptized, and told them lots of people come to church for months at a time. (I started in too at some point)

We met with Rumae Friday and she just had no hope, but was going to keep reading and coming when JB decided they should come.  They went to their camp this weekend so they didn't go to church.  Hopefully this weekend we can get them to EVERY conference session I feel it will be a "game changer" for them.

Ann dropped us, twice, once she did Tuesday, then we gave her a Book of Mormon and she committed to read it, then she didn't and we called her and she dropped us again "i don't have the time" or something like that.  But this was a really slow week, did some tracking, walked some.

BUT HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK, ADAM S. (&fam) BOUGHT US BIKES!!! Saturday we went over to their house  and Adam turned to us and said we are going to buy you bikes, and drove us to a place and bought us nice bikes, plus $50 think locks!  We couldn't thank them enough, and they insisted they couldn't thank us enough, Joanna (the member wife) was "waiting so long for Adam to get baptized, and Adam had gone through sets and sets of missionaries, but something about us clicked and they will be eternally grateful"

We were so grateful, as in the Joseph Smith full movie, a quote from Joseph Smith says "the Lord will bring you down, just so He can lift you higher" or something like that, but ya, we got our bikes stolen a week later we were given really nice bikes, from a bike shop and all.  Oh so Tuesday was hard, was dropped by 3 investigators (or almost was, JB, Rumae & Ann), luckily Gods grace is big, I got a letter that night from Jonathan S, and made me feel so much better, Letters can be inspired!  Yep that was my week.  I would love to hear from yall!
